Before I start painting, I meditate and ask my guides to inspire and help me to channel, and hope that the results have different healing meanings and messages for different people viewing them and buying my artwork”

This painting is done in colourful acrylics & sparkle. The Badger featured has come forward to remind the owner of her strength, the colourful surroundings are to boost her, with a love of colour & indeed a colourful character. This painting is about persistence, determination & endurance for a self reliant individual who is very much their own boss. Like the badger, strong, sturdy & happy in her own company, there is a sense of ‘completion’ that seems relevant at the moment. There seems a ‘life story’ to be used now in a way to help and support others to. Just like the Badger the lady this is for can fight strongly when cornered, but only when required.

This piece makes me smile and reminds me of a sort of Neighbourhood Watch meeting for Birds. Blackbird is chairperson overseeing proceedings, Sparrow, Blue Tit & Great Tit are mid debate & Robin looks on keeping his thoughts to himself. This painting has gone to an owner who loves birds and watches them everyday from her window, brightening up her day with their antics! I love our feathered friends and enjoy creating textures for the feathers, watching them in flight and observing their behaviour. This particular piece is from my ‘Wings’ collection and also features angels and other spiritual associations.

Underwater Haven represents a safe place. Reefs are both beautiful and fragile., this represents our own personal world about keeping our peace, a delicate state of balance. Water represents emotions and this scene is unspoilt., no pollution, no debris and no disturbances. This painting aims to give that sense of calm, where there’s no emotional rubbish. As an animal guide, the Sea Turtle symbolizes longevity, peace, grounding, ancient wisdom, and emotional strength. Turtle carries the world on it’s back, (these are your responsibilities, family home work etc, so she helps to carry the load…. ‘grounding you’ but also keeping you afloat.
